Phil Coke pitched his 1st complete game and shutout of the season, improving to 5-1 in the process. The left-hander, who scattered 8 hits, had plenty of run support as the Class 'A' Yankees banged out 12 hits. Edwar Gonzalez and Chris Malec had 3 hits apiece. Malec also drove in 2 runs.
Charleston-Savannah postponed.

Ryan Pope, the Yankees 3rd round selection in this year's amateur draft, made a successful minor league, tossing 3 shutout innings. Nick Chigges thew 4 innings of relief to pick up the win, while Jason Kiley notched his 1st professional save. Kiley was selected in the 25th round of this year's draft.
