Bronson Sardinha had a great spring training, but struggled at Scranton. After hitting just .222 he was demoted to Trenton. In his 1st game, the 24-yr old went 3-3, with a home run, triple, and 4 RBI. Ian Kennedy didn't figure in the decision, but went 6.2 innings, allowing 2 runs, 3 hits, walked 2 and struck out 8. His ERA is 2.47 in his 8 starts at Double-A. Justin Pope picked up his 1st win after notching a couple at Scranton.
St. Lucie 7 Tampa 6
Pitchers Anthony Claggett and David Robertson were roughed up as Tampa blew a 6-5 lead. Austin Jackson continued his hotting hitting since his promotion from Charleston, belting his 5th home run in 19 games. Jose Tabata was 2-4.

Starter Gabriel Medina allowed just 1 hit over 6 innings and struck out 6. Shortstop Eduardo Nunez had 2 hits, 2 steals, and a run scored.
Staten Island 9 Auburn Valley 5
Jeffrey Karstens made a successful rehab start, allowing 1 run on 4 hits in 5 innings. He also struck out 8. 3rd Baseman Justin Snyder had 3 hits and drove in a pair of runs. The 21-yr old is hitting .338 and has a 1.004 OPS. The team banged out 16 hits.
