It was a tough weekend. Had a dream the Yankees traded Mariano Rivera. I said that's it, I'm no longer rooting for them. Shut down My Pinstripes and that was that. And then I woke up. Phew.
Mark Prior's agent John Boggs admitted that both the Yankees and Mets have shown "preliminary interest" in his client. 11 teams have shown some interested to date for the right-hander, who will probably be ready to go in May. Prior had surgery on his right rotator cuff and labrum.
The Yankees are talking to the Twins again about Johan Santana, but their stance has not changed. They still refuse to include 2 top-notch young pitchers in the deal. Source
