Dellin Betances got good news after leaving his last Staten Island start with elbow stiffness. It was diagnosed as inflammation and he should be good to go with some rest.
It's official Matt DeSalvo will pitch one end of Saturday's doubleheader with Tampa Bay. The bad news is that Kei Igawa is pitching the other end. Could be a very long day.

Trade Rumor of day - The Yankees were interested in Wilson Betemit last season when he was with Atlanta. According to the NY Post, the Yankees are looking at him again, with Scott Proctor as the bait. Betemit has 10 HRs in 140 ABs, but is hitting just .221.
