The Triple-A Yankees clobbered the Indians despite a poor outing from starter Chase Wright. The lefty allowed one 1 run in 5.2 innings, but walked 7. There was plenty of run support though, lead by Brett Gardner who had 3 hits and 3 RBI. Kevin Reese hit his 8th home run of the year.
Runelvys Hernandez, who threw 6 games for Scranton before being released, was the starter and loser for Indy.
Trenton 6 Binghamton 3
Jeff Karstens made another successful rehab start, allowing 1 run in 5 IP. He allowed 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. Cody Ehlers had 3 doubles and 3 RBI to lead the Thunder offense.
Tampa 8 Jupiter 2
Jose Tabata and Marcos Vechionacci drove in 2 runs each as the Yankees put together a pair of 4 run innings. Dan McCutcheon threw 3 shutout innings in the start, and Wilkins Arias picked up the win.

Reggie Corona homered and knocked in a pair of runs and Francisco Cervilli had 3 hits, 2 runs scored, and an RBI. Anthony Claggett picked up the victory in the nightcap of the doubleheader.
Charleston 3 Kannapolis 1
Gabriel Medina allowed 1 unearned run in 6.1 innings and 3 relievers helped shut down the Intimidators' offense. Josue Calzado drove in a pair of runs with a single and a sac fly.
Staten Island 9 Mahoning Valley 6
Damon Sublett blasted a grand slam and Braedyn Pruitt had 3 hits and 3 RBI to lead the Baby Bombers. Ryan Zink benefited from the run support, picking up the win despite a shaky outing.
GCL Yankees 1 GCL Braves 0
Jason Stephens and Kelvin Perez (4-1) combined on a 3-hit shutout. Abraham Almonte triped and came home with the lone run on Kelvin Castro's single.
The Yankees complete a perfect day, winning at all levels.
