Yankees vs. Orioles - May 22

What Joe Girardi wouldn't give for a series win tonight, especially with Ian Kennedy pitching. The Yankees wrap up the finale of the 3-game series this evening against Brian Burres, who beat the Yankees back on April 19. Like last night's starter Garret Olson, Burres is left-handed so it would not be surprising to see Joe Girardi go with the same lineup, with the exception of possibly putting Jose Molina behind the plate.

Lineups when they are posted.

Update - 4:02 pm

Giambi replaces Abreu and Molina replaces Moeller. Matsui in the 3-hole, very interesting.

Damon LF
Jeter SS
Matsui DH
Rodriguez 3B
Giambi 1B
Duncan RF
Cano 2B
Molina C
Cabrera CF

I really do not like Joba moving to the rotation. I think he could be a top closer and he shortens games pitching in the 8th inning.

Not a good move.
