Local Boys Shuts Down Tampa

Rick Porcello's stardom at Seton Hall Prep in NJ lead to him being the 27th pick in the 2007 MLB amateur draft. The Tigers stud prospect made his professional debut for Lakeland tonight by limiting the Tampa Yankees to 1 hit over 5 innings. The Tigers took it 4-1.
