Iron Pigs Can't Hit
First off, who came up with the bright idea to name the Phillies Triple-A team, Lehigh Valley, the "Iron Pigs"? Pigs don't have opposable thumbs, which must explain why Kei Igawa threw 6 perfect innings against them tonight.
Igawa struck out 7 as he combined with Scott Patterson, Edwar Ramirez, and Jose Veras on a 1-hitter.
Jason Lane homered and Eric Duncan had 2 hits and an RBI to lead the Scranton offense.
