Yankees Going After Tex

According to SI's Jon Heyman, the Yankees are back in the mix for free agent first baseman Mark Teixeira. With rumors of big offers and talks concerning Teixeira and the Angels, Red Sox, Nationals, and Orioles, the Yankees have shifted some of their focus off of pitching and back to the lineup.

The addition of Mike Cameron certainly didn't add much to the offense, and the Yankees are aware they still need a big bat or two.
