Breaking News: Rays Do Not Acquire Bay
It has not been confirmed yet, but MLB.com is reporting that the Rays will acquire Jason Bay from the Pirates for highly regarded prospects, shortstop Reid Brignac and pitcher Jeff Niemann.

Ken Rosenthal says the deal is dead. MLB.com was premature in reporting the deal, which is not likely to happen at this point.
