41 years ago today, May 14, 1967, Mickey Mantle went deep for his 500th career home run. It was 2 days shy of the 16th anniversary of his first home run. Mickey took the Orioles Stu Miller deep in the 7th inning at Yankee Stadium.Labels: 500 HR, MIckey Mantle, One for the Mantle
