The Sarasota Reds outpitched the Tampa Yankees 3-1 despite another strong outing by Eric Hacker. The right-hander didn't figure in the decision after allowing 1 run in 7 innings pitched. His ERA rose to 0.90.
The Charleston River Dogs dropped a 2-1 decision to the Augusta Green Jackets as all of the Yankees teams in action lost last night. Dellin Betances took his first loss of the season after allowing 2 runs on 3 hits, 3 walks and 6 K's in 5 IP.
Prospect Watch - Jesus Montero was 2-5 (.360). Justin Snyder was 2-4 (.310).
