IPK - D O N E
Ian Kennedy's day ended a lot better than it started. After a rocky first inning, in which he allowed 4 runs, IPK settled down and threw 3.2 scoreless frames. His line for the day - 4.2 IP 5 H 4 R 0 ER 4 BB 2 K. The walks are obviously the biggest issue and lead to his early exit.
Scott Patterson has come on to pitch as he tries to snare that final roster spot.
Yankees had the bases loaded and no one out in the 5th, but Johnny Damon lined out and Derek Jeter bouced into an inning ending DP. They did pick up a run on in the 3rd when Jose Molina doubled, his first of two hits, and later came around on Andy Marte's 2nd error of the day.
Indians 4-1 after 5
