Old Meets New

The Yankees gave a tour to reporters yesterday of the Yankee Stadium construction. We've already documented our feelings on the new place, but now we're even more excited about the new place.

Yankees chief operating officer Lon Trost talked about the plan to make the outside of the Stadium look like the 1923 version and the inside like the 1976 park. You can see a video tour on Lohud.com.

Peter Abraham also has some good details about the new Stadium as well as some stuff on the current Stadium, where yesterday's tour began. They even took a peek into King George's suite.

One question though- what is a martini bar doing in Yankee Stadium? C'MON!
