Yankee Fan's Prized Possession Stolen
If any of you have ever collected baseball cards, programs, yearbooks, etc., you know how devastating it is if they are lost, stolen, or in many cases, thrown out by your Mother (no, mine didn't, though she threatened to many times).
Troy Peterson of Henderson, KY is one such Yankees fan. Henderson's home was recently broken into and his baseball collection was taken. It included his prized possession, a 1952 World Series program, similar to the one pictured to the left, given to him by his great-aunt, who attended the games.
Peterson also lost approximately 30,000 baseball cards, some dating back to the 1950s. It was the 2nd such break in, in 3 weeks.
If you have any information, please contact the Henderson police department.
