According to ESPN's Buster Olney, Alex Rodriguez would not meet with the Yankees, prior to opting out, unless they would were prepared to offer him a deal that was, at a minimum, 350 mill.
The Yankees may have leaked the story out to try to take away from the Joe Torre fiasco. Smart move if that's the case.
